Nagarjuna came in support of Kamal Haasan who is fighting all the odds for the release of his Rs 95 crore film Viswaroopam.
Speaking to NDTV, Nag told,"I have known Kamalji for a very long time. I'm a fan of his work and he is one of the best actors India has produced. Unfortunately, I was out of the country and I'm yet to see Viswaroopam. He has done many films before. I don't think he is a man who could do something which affects communal harmony."
The latest development is that Madras High Court has set aside the single judge's order lifting the ban, which means Viswaroopam stands banned in Tamilnadu till February 6th.
Good to see a senior hero like Nag leading from the front in fight against ill-treatment meted out to a finest actor in the country. It's time for all the Tollywood stars to step out and speak against the ban on Viswaroopam as what happened to Kamal now may happen to any one of the actors in future.
