They say that Tamanna failed to impress like a Sridevi. In the song 'Naino Mein Sapna', Sridevi excelled like anything with romantic expressions. But coming to Tamanna, she has shown her hot body and swift dancing abilities, but failed to score with expressions, the critic said.  Looks like, our hottie is losing marks in this comparison game.

On the other hand, Tamanna is expressing confidence that her fate will change after the release of 'Himmatwala'. But what is the use, as she is busy with bunch of Telugu and Tamil flicks. She should make a choice!

Rajamouli calls himself Stupid

SS Rajamouli had foot in his mouth the other day while speaking at the pressmeet held by Kamal Haasan to thank the Telugu Film Industry which stood by him during his toughest phase. Instead of saying 'Communal Disharmony', the ace filmmaker went on to say 'Communal Harmony'.

Rajamouli speech: "Kamal Haasan has taught us about all the crafts of film making. Apart from that, he showed us how to put up a brave heart after making a film with Viswaroopam. Ban on Viswaroopam is against 'Freedom of Expression'. He broke down in tears only because he was forced to leave his mother land Tamilnadu. Imposing ban on films like Viswaroopam will increase 'Communal Harmony'. Sir (Kamal), it's an honor to speak about you. Thank you very much".

The director apologized on the public platform for committing the blunder before calling himself a 'Stupid'. This shows Rajamouli's grounded nature and the super stardom he is enjoying hasn't gone to his head. Good for him & Good for the Industry as well!

Action entertainer 'Mirchi' has registered career best openings for Prabhas and also one of the biggest 1st day collections in Telugu Film Industry. The film which opened to thumping response and positive reviews worldwide is poised to collect over Rs 30 crores share in the long run, making it the biggest hit in Prabhas career and the Young Rebel Star is now in the Top League.

The reach of Prabhas has increased rapidly in the past few years. Films like Darling and Mr. Perfect brought him close to the female audience and the hardcore mass fan base will always remain as his main strength.

Deepika Padukone has an interesting story to tell as far as her funky look on the poster of Rohit Shetty’s forthcoming film Chennai Express starring Shahrukh Khan is concerned.

When Dippy came to shoot for the poster, little did the 26-year-old know that there was an interesting wardrobe change for her, that was conceptualised by none other than her Om Shanti Om co-star SRK.“The idea to wear a lungi is not mine actually. It was Shahrukh and Rohit who came up with it. We had to quickly do a photo shoot because we were losing the light. They were like ‘Why don’t we give her this lungi and make her look modern.’ The shirt that I am wearing in the posters also belongs to SRK, only the sunglasses are mine,” said Deepika in an interview to a daily.

We think the obvious reason why Deepika was made to wear a lungi was because the actor-director duo wanted to cash in on the gorgeous star’s interminably long legs which are amply visible because the lungi is tied very sexily, making this poster look really interesting. After all, who knows marketing better than King Khan himself!

Salman Khan is famous for – apart from his Dabangg attitude – not stepping up on the stage to accept awards. But the evening of February 5th, when the International Advertising Association hosted the awards show for the Brand Endorser Of The Year, changed that. Yes, Salman won the coveted title of the Best Brand Endorser of The Year. And while we were happy at that, we danced at the sight of him stepping up on to the stage to receive the award after almost 14 years.

But it wasn’t as easy as it sounds. Sallu, habituated to staying put on his seat whenever his name is called out, remained seated this time around too. Only after his fans, coaxed and cajoled – someone even gave him a tiny push, perhaps – did Khan decide to go on the stage.

And what did he do once on the podium? He gave a why-I-don’t-receive-awards speech instead of mumbling a cliched ‘thank you’. “I don’t think I deserve these awards. The day I feel I really deserve an award, I will go and snatch it from the person who’s holding it,” he said, in true Sallu ishtyle.

The superbrat star even went on to say that these awards create a rift between the actors – like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and himself – when they are pitted against each other. One wins, the channel earns its TRPs and others just return home empty handed. Hence, Salman generally keeps away from the awards.

But what happened that night has made it amply clear that while Sallu does prefer to stay away from awards, for whatever reason, making him go up on stage is possible. Yay!

So all you fans who pine to see your fave Dabangg actor receive those filmi awards, give him a friendly shove the next time his name is called. You will, won’t you?

Mahesh Babu puts fight between Star Heroes

Though Mahesh is not directly doing it, he is the main reason for the spat between the two top stars. The reason is that both the top stars are eager to do the remake of Mahesh's blockbuster 'Dookudu' which had set cash counters ringing in Telugu film industry. As soon as the news of Hindi remake of 'Dookudu' got confirmed, actors Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar are leaving no stone unturned. Earlier Mahesh's 'Pokiri' was remade by Salman as 'Wanted' and it turned into blockbuster there too.

Kamal had already begun the pre-production work of his next venture which is tentatively titled as MOO. The story of the film revolves around the lives of three people. Kamal will be sporting three avatars once again in his career for this mega project which is multi-lingual (Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English).

Barrie Osborne, the producer of Hollywood flick 'The Lord Of The Rings', had recently expressed his keen interest to team up with the Versatile Actor. If everything falls in place, this project would be the collaboration between the two.

A actor of Kamal's calibre can't be restricted to a state or a single country. Though delayed a bit, Legendry Actor has made a right move. Wish him good luck for Hollywood debut!
